Transportation

Since 1991, INGETEC has been the leading Consultant for both the Bogota City Administration and the National Government concerning studies to determine the most attractive solution for an Integrated Public Transportation System. The latest studies were conducted conjointly with Bechtel and SYSTRA in order to define the institutional and financial aspects required to develop the First Metro Line, which will carry 56,000 passengers/hour/way, with a length of 29 km and 23 stations. It includes 5 km of underground tunnels in central Bogota.
