Bogota Metro
Since 1991, INGETEC S.A. has been consultant both for the City Administration
and the National Government to study the most attractive solution for
the City’s Mass Transportation System. Bechtel and SYSTRA overseas
companies conducted the latest studies in order to study the financial
and institutional aspects required for the development of the First
Metro Line for the City of Bogotá. This line would have a capacity
of 56,000 passengers/hr/way and length of
29 km with 23 stations; the study includes 6.6 km of subway routes in
the central area of the city.
