 Termocentro (combined cycle) Conversion of the Termocentro combined cycle thermal power plant into natural gas, which includes two simple-cycle combustion turbines, 100 MW each, for a total installed capacity of 300 MW. Services rendered: Engineering supervision of the contractor’s activities: 1. Design of civil works and equipment 2. Construction of the civil works 3. Erection, start-up and commissioning of equipment 4. Design and environmental management (social and physicobiotic) 5. Industrial safety and occupational health Technical characteristics: Boilers: Two horizontal-flow, heat-recovery boilers, with 283,8 ton/h main vapor at 516°C and 87 bars, and 64 ton/h secondary vapor at 293°C and 10,6 bars. Turbogroup: One double-pressure turbine at 3600 rpm with a130 MVA generator, 13,8 kV and 0,8 cosF. New substation: 230 kV, simple busbar, 5-field, conventional type. Control system: Enlargement of existing distributed digital system. Cooling system: Closed-circuit with induced-draft cooling tower.Water supply: three 260 m shafts, with 50 l/sec pumps and increase of existing pumping capacity to two 20 l/sec pumps.
