Sochagota - Guatiguará Transmission line

Transmission line at 230 kV.

Description:

230 kV, single-circuit, supported by steel towers. The main characteristics of the line are:

  • Total length: 155 km
  • Circuits: 1
  • Overhead ground wires: 2
  • System voltage: 500 kV
  • Number of transmission towers: 335
  • Tower type: Self-supported, steel lattice, triangular-phase configuration
  • Phase conductors: ACAR 1200 and 1500 MCM
  • Ground wire conductor: Alumoweld, Minorca and OPGW (optic fiber)
  • Maximum ground elevation: 3255 masl
  • Minimum elevation: 466 masl
  • Terrain: Mountainous and hilly
