230 kV Transmission line.

Description:

230 kV, single-circuit, supported by steel towers. The main characteristics of the line are:

  • Total length: 206 km
  • Circuits: 1
  • Overhead ground wires: 1
  • System voltage: 230 kV
  • Number of towers: 442
  • Tower type: Self-supported, steel lattice, triangular-phase configuration
  • Phase conductors: ACAR 1000 MCM 18/19 wires
  • Ground wire conductor: Alumoweld 7 No. 8 AWG
  • Maximum elevation: 1200 masl
  • Minimum elevation: 350 masl
  • Terrain: Mountainous and flat
