Bogotá-Girardot Highway
Study of the environmental impact evaluation for the Bosa - Granada
- Girardot, Granada - Fusagasuga – Girardot concession highway.
The study included the following activities:
- Characterization
of the vegetation and computation of the biomass affected by the works
through field sampling.
- Revision
of secondary information for the fauna component.
- Discrete
sampling for general characterization of aquatic systems, water physicochemistry
and hydrobiological communities of bodies of water within the area
of influence (benthos, periphyton).
- General
characterization of social conditions within the area of influence
of the project, revision of secondary information, fieldwork, interviews
and direct observation. A socioeconomic and land property census was
conducted amongst the population affected by the project.
- Identification,
evaluation, description and prioritization of social and environmental
impacts.
- Design
of the Environmental Management Plan for the physical, biotic and
social components in which the social management programs stand out,
such as the information and consultation program with the community.
