Enlargement of the Puerto Mallarino
Water Treatment Plant:

The enlargement works at the plant increased the yield of potable water from 3.3 m³/sec to 4.95 m³/sec. Such increase implied the supply and installation of a 66” diameter metal pipe between the valve chamber at the intake structure and the flow distribution chamber reactors C and D filters.

The works also involved the first phase of filter installation, two treated-water pumps, a flow distribution chamber, construction of the solids contact reactor and erection of mechanical equipment.

Construction of the Puerto Mallarino storm water pumping station, supply and equipment erection, start-up and commissioning:

The design flow was 20 m³/sec for the pumping station. The pumping station works consisted mainly of the construction of a pressure chamber, supply and erection of five pumps, the electric power substation and ancillary equipment.

Construction of the water pipe distribution network of Terrón Colorado, Sector I:

The potable water pipe distribution network has a total length of
3,500 m and the wastewater concrete pipe collection network is
7,900 m long.

Construction of the Terrón Colorado, Sector II water pipe network:

The potable water distribution network is 11,000 m long and the wastewater collection network is 11,500 m long, composed of 3,300 m of cast-iron pipes and 8,200 m of concrete pipes.

Construction of Mojica II Quarter wastewater network:

The area of influence is 23,8 ha. In addition to sewerage works (household sinks, chambers, etc) supply and installation of 12,000 m of concrete pipes was carried out with diameters varying between 8" and 30" as well as 16,300 m of 6" diameter pipes.

Services rendered:

The joint venture INGETEC S.A. - INCOL LTDA. undertook the technical and administrative supervision of five construction contracts for the Aguablanca District in the City of Cali.
