Thermal
Power Plants
INGETEC S.A. has participated in more than twelve thermal power projects,
with a total installed capacity of 1 000 MW, of which 500 MW are currently
in operation.
The most recently completed projects are Project Management for Construction
of Termoyopal Stage 1, two 50 MW gas-operated units, and construction
of the natural gas-operated La Sierra Thermal Power Plant, including
two 150 MW open-cycle units.
INGETEC carried out the engineering supervision tasks during enlargement
of the combined-cycle Termocentro Thermal Power Plant, with a 100 MW
vapor turbine, yielding a total generation capacity of 300 MW.
