Telecommunications

INGETEC has wide experience in most types of telecommunications systems. The firm designed one of the first fiber optic communication systems in Colombia, as part of the Guavio Hydroelectric Project (1600 MW), including 100 km of OPGW on the 230/500 kV power transmission line and connection of control and protective functions between the 600-m deep underground powerhouse and the aboveground control building.

INGETEC has provided conceptual studies, basic and detail engineering, supervision during construction and operation of the following systems:
